Cleaners were rude and aggressive. We paid £460 for 5 hours work for 3 cleaners (15 hours!) and the end result was shocking.
We sent 16 photos to the head office to complain and they completely washed their hands of it. We're now being charged the same again by our landlord to do the job properly. Disgusting.

A word of warning to potential customers of Mels-cleaning.. I have used this company twice, on the first occasion they did not turn up, and then were two hours late on the rearranged day. I stupidly re-booked... This time they did not turn up and when I called to see where they were I have been told that they are running three hours late due to traffic problems (we live in a rural area and were meant to be here at 8.30am!). I could not recommend this company to anybody. Totally unreliable.

My experience with this company was horrendous! From start to finish, they were unorganised, unprofessional and unreliable.
We hired Mels-cleaning to complete and end of tendency clean. After discussing our price point and our house, Abi advised us that a 5 hour clean should be enough time.
She informed me that this was an option they give customers and that we could instruct them to clean particular areas first. I paid half the amount up front and requested an invoice. I was told they will provide me with an invoice after the job was complete. Needless to say, I still don't have one but they have their money.
Trusting this sales pitch was our first mistake as they used the fact we hired them for 5 hours rather than the full clean as the reason for their poor service.
On the day of the clean, they completed 5 hours, asked us to sign a time sheet and left.
When we look at the house, it was like they had not touch anything. There was dust everywhere, they hadn't pulled out any of the furniture to clean behind it etc. The glass dining room table had not been whipped down.
When the estate agent and the checkout managers arrived they were shocked when we said we had hired anyone.
We immediately took pictures emailed and called Mel-Cleaning. I spoke to Abi. She said she would have to talk to the team and see their pictures (they are required to take before and after picture but didn't.) reasonable. Right.
We did not hear back from them until the next day when we received an email staring the time sheet had been signed after a walked through (which didn't happen) so the case was closed. - signed Mike Hunt. (I've been working in business long enough to understand that). The last time I was able to speak to anyone, I was told by someone else, that the customer service people probable wouldn't talk to me and my best bet was to mail the main office on London.
I called back a number of times requesting to speak to someone. I was always tranfered to a voice mail.
Within a couple days, my calls no longer went to their call centre but directly to a voice mail. I thought this was quite odd. I had my husband call from his phone and got through to Mel. Clearly they didn't want to deal with an upset customer and had all my calls forwarded to a machine and never called me back.
My husband spoke to the owner and explain the situation. She was rude, defensive and not interested in keeping her customer happy. After a few minutes, my husband asked for her to email us the pictures the cleaning team too to compare. (Again- they didn't take any).
We have not heard from them again and my husbands number has now been forwarded to a voice mail.
This company has no interest in their customers, they provide a poor service and even the owner deals with things in a unprofessional manner.
I would advise anyone to stay far away from this company. Although it looks like they have a huge company it is not.
In the end we had to pay to have the propert cleaned again causing us to be out of pocket £300.
