The company is owned/run by JD Burford metal fabricators - a small company in Wales. If you want to speak to someone about their cowls they state they don’t sell direct to the general public yet they run a website selling items on their website the general public can buy and their products are on other websites as well as from different builder merchants. Some products are made by them but not sold by them on their website so can only be purchased from certain vendors - none of this is clearly indicated by themselves or the vendors.

Trying to speak to someone regarding technical information about their products/product can be very difficult and frustrating - the receptionist is polite but doesn’t know much and can only reiterate the same thing and not give any information on their products or has any access to their systems/catalogs for stock etc.

If you annoy them enough you may get to speak to someone who has some technical knowledge about the products however they may think you want to buy directly off them so rather than get the technical information you need you end up stating the same thing the receptionist couldn’t grasp so you won’t really get anywhere either.

All in all, they would rather increase their workload by getting multiple calls and emails from vendors and builders merchants who have to wait for a reply (subsequently getting nowhere either) asking exactly the same thing about the same product causing them extra work rather than speaking directly once to the 1 customer who knows what they want and require technically which would of course save a lot of time and effort.

Other than that, I’m sure their products are good.
