I purchase a set of Hilka electrical screwdrivers from Amazon UK expecting them to be made in the UK. But it seems they too are made in China. I'm sick of being duped. Where have all the UK manufacturers gone? I suppose the Thatcher era has put pay to our once-great manufacturing prowess.

I have been researching to find out where Hilka, Draper, Sealey. Marko, Goodyear, Bergan, Silverline, Nielson.Wiesman, and STANLEY are just a few I mention here, are actually made? again i have come zero so like so many other tool suppliers you see today!
If you look at their company information you will only see only (Hilka UK example) which is an active registered company showing how many years they have been running and so forth, however, like so many other tool suppliers claiming to say Their Quality Tools! But never stating "where or who" makes them! This is the great Question to many people who want know where these tools are made......China!!! If you want good tools that you want to know where they are manufactured you have research! you will find them.
