I recently joined the Country Club at Peebles hydro in Scotland having worked all my life as a Nurse/Matron I wanted to relax in my retirement. I communicated with the health club but had no idea I would be dealing with a 3rd part FastDD.co.uk they are merciless and don’t even give you a chance to sort out your first direct debit. I hadn’t realised that my DD wasn’t sorte out correctly and when I checked my email I saw FastDD had sent me an email where I need to sign online. My IPad wouldn’t let me so I tried my laptop it still wouldn’t let me. I spoke to the health club and they said I should come in and they would try to help me but I was horrified to receive a text message from FastDD telling me I was in debt when I had just joined and had problems online. What kind of world do we live in? It would have been courteous to give me another option to sign the DD instead of a vicious message on my phone. Is this how they welcome all new members to Peebles hydro Scotland?? If so I imagine this upset a lot of people like me who always pay their bills on time.
