Appalling service!
I ordered 250 calendars for our small animal sanctuary in mid-September. The online design software is really good and it is fairly straightforward to compile a professional looking calendar. After chasing I received a digital proof that looked good so I gave the go-ahead.
Unfortunately this is where it all falls apart! The printed proof has never arrived despite an email stating that it had been sent. Another proof copy was then going to be sent which also never arrived.
We needed these calendars for our early Xmas fair, which is our major event of the year, and although we ordered 9 week’s previous to this, Ask have let us down completely. We have now been forced to get the calendars elsewhere and have cancelled the order.
Ask have a telephone number which goes straight to answerphone, messages left on this are not responded to.
They have an online ‘help’ function, which is not responded to.
Finally they have an email address, which is responded to around 25% of the time, with an average reply time of 1-2 weeks!

Avoid this company. They promised me monthly commission payments for my calendar. They have sold quite a few calendars and now owe me about £220 in total. No sign of it being paid to me - so sad as I had intended donating the money to an animal Rescue charity.
Ask print essentially defrauding charities of money. Lowest of the low - avoid.

Used this company before and not had an issue so didn’t even contemplate there would be a problem this year. Paid for charity calendars which were due at the start of Dec and have still not arrived. No response to numerous emails or calls to check if have been dispatched or even printed . Would not recommend and will not be using again. Gutted though that the charity loses out.

Last year, I discovered Ask calendars. They were just round the corner from where I live and when I rang they answered questions and were incredibly helpful. I printed a calendar through them, a small order, 20 copies for family and my Mum's care team. They got the order ready when they said they would, they communicated well all the way through the process and at the end of it all I was able to saunter round the corner to their offices and pick up the calendars myself.
After such a great experience I didn't think twice this year. I went straight to the ask website and made a calendar using their design tool. Some of the images had bled off the page (intentional) but the ones that had bled off the bottom looked as if they were going to print on the page below.
I couldn't get the proof button to work but I wasn't too worried as the overflowing bits hadn't come out on the calendar I'd done for 2022 so I reckoned it was probably OK, and if not, I'd ordered a pdf proof anyway, so if there were any problems I assumed it would show on those and I could ask for help. I ordered the calendars on the pay later option and discovered that the ask print facility had moved to Alcester so I wouldn't be able to pick them up. Never mind.
A day after I'd uploaded my design, my proof arrived. Unfortunately, it looked as if the bottom halves of three of the pictures were, indeed, going to bleed onto the day-at-a-glance planner bit and print there on the finished version. Mea culpa.
However, two others which I'd positioned the same way were fine. I emailed Ask straight away explaining and also warning them that I'd ordered the calendars to arrive by 18th December, which was two weeks hence when I placed the order. I asked if they needed me to send them cropped photos replace the ones that were bleeding over into the planner bit. Then I waited.
I heard nothing and no alts appeared but hey, it was Friday. When Monday came, still no word or a second proof. I rang them and got an answering machine message saying they were very busy but to leave a message and they would call me back. I left a message. Nothing.
Tuesday, nothing.
Wednesday I was out all day but had given them my mobile number. I heard nothing. If they needed cropped photos they would surely need them sooner rather than later if the calendars were going to be printed on time. I began to get worried.
It's now 9th and I'm still waiting for a response to my simple question ... The phone number is still their old one but the print facility is away up near Bromsgrove somewhere and I am worried the message is on a loop and there's no-one there anymore. I will have to pop round and see if anyone is in.
Not sure what else to do now but I've emailed them explaining that I need the calendars by the end of next week and that if I don't hear by the end of today I'll assume they can't print them in time and go elsewhere. I've tried to contact them every which way, even instragram and facebook, as well as email and I've left another phone message.
All in all, they were absolutely great last year, but this year the whole experience has been a bit lumpy and now they appear to be ghosting me over the answer to a simple question.
It's just embarrassing that, after last year's experience, I've recommended them to so many people. Here's hoping that if anyone took up my recommendation, their experiences with Ask this year have differed from mine.
If you're printing calendars for 2023, Ask are best avoided until they've got their act together again ... unless you like being ghosted of course.

Useless, completely useless. No communication, no answers and obviously NO CALENDARS. Don’t waste time and effort, go somewhere else now!

Unfortunately for whatever reason my 2nd calendar order (in January 2021) still has not arrived. Initially the company emailed back & now will not return my calls or emails. They have taken my money and as I paid using a debit card I am unable to retrieve my money. The first order went smoothly and 50 calendars were printed and delivered, but an extra order of just 5 has not been produced nor delivered.
Its impossible to get through to speak to anyone and it really puts me off ever using them again for future jobs.
really disappointed, please take my advice & avoid them.

A calendar is a system of organizing days for social, religious, commercial or administrative purposes. This is done by giving names to periods of time, typically days, weeks, months and years. read more

Same here, can't believe it after having no problems in the past. They need to get a grip and deal with it.
